Joakin ECHEVERRIA, who is Basque in both his character and birthright, is an experienced traveller passionate about quality workmanship.
After growing up in his aunt’s leather workrooms, he was naturally drawn towards the world of fashion and accessories, and developed a passion for creation.
He worked for several years in the leathergoods industry where he discovered a love for beautiful materials, and began specializing in exotic skins.
From his Basque origins, world travels and extensive expertise, AïZEA’s creation was assured: a line of elegant, contemporary, timeless luggage and leathergoods blending innovation and savoir-faire.
